i don’t like getting older. while life in general has been increasingly more enjoyable with age, the numerical aspect is getting worse.
this summer many of my friends have turned 30. this saturday, yet another friend is turning 30 and while i still have a couple years, reality is setting in. i will no longer be a twenty-something in the near future.
turning 30 in my opinion is the real start of adulthood. there is no going back. you are now a grown-up.
i have even began to lie about my current age of 28. i have stated that i am 26 and i am pretty sure i will be using that perfect-sounding number for the next 3-5 years.
do you lie about your age? is it too early for me to deduct a few years off my current age?
word of the day – turtle

29 forever!!!! Nah, 30s not so bad. I had quite a few freak outs before the actual day, but then I happened, and it was fine. The world didn’t come to an end, I didn’t sprout any grey hairs, but my metabolism slowed waaaaaaaayyyyyy down. That part really really sucks. But being imaginative with your age sadly won’t change that. Enjoy your late 20s!!!
