my jeep has 103,874 miles on the odometer. that’s really not that many miles when you think about it.

i have had my 2000 cherokee for five years now and i still love the thing. at the same time, i would like a new car. however, this means i will subject myself to a monthly car payment, leaving less cheddar for entertainment, home purchases and potential travel plans.

when do you decide when something is a need vs. want? we live in a very materialistic society and it’s always about wanting more and/or better than the next person. how did this happen? i partially blame hollywood. but i also blame my generation’s parents. you spoiled us way too much and now look at us. i still love you, though.

i may have an opportunity in the near future to purchase a pretty nice whip at a really nice price. but again, why sacrifice social events, restaurant visits and ebay purchases for a vehicle. an automobile it not an investment by any means. it’s a luxury item.
